TCG Life Counter ("the App") is an iOS mobile application developed by Darren Paul. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
TCG Life Counter is designed with privacy in mind. The App does not require you to create an account, and we do not send player names, hero names, support email addresses, or advertising identifiers to our analytics service.
The App stores the following data locally on your device only:
This locally stored content is not transmitted to us or any server.
The App and website send anonymous usage events such as page views, game type and format, player count, game duration, dice type and result, and purchase product, price, currency, and transaction identifier. These events use a randomly generated anonymous identifier and are not linked to an account or person profile.

The App and website use PostHog EU Cloud for anonymous analytics to understand feature usage and improve the product. Person profiles, location enrichment, automatic interaction capture, session recording, and exception capture are disabled. Website analytics use memory-only browser storage and do not retain campaign or referring URL data. For more information, see the PostHog Privacy Policy.
The App offers an optional one-time in-app purchase. This transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. For more information, see the Apple Privacy Policy.
Player names, game history, and preferences remain locally on your device and are not synchronised or backed up by us. Anonymous analytics events are processed by PostHog in its EU Cloud environment. Analytics is configured without person profiles and with location enrichment disabled.
Local preferences remain for as long as the App is installed. Anonymous analytics events are retained according to our PostHog EU project retention settings. Uninstalling the App removes locally stored app data but does not remove previously collected anonymous events.
You can delete local App data from Settings or by uninstalling the App. Because analytics uses an anonymous identifier and no account, we generally cannot associate an analytics record with a particular person. Contact us if you have a privacy request or question.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Anonymous product analytics is not used for advertising or to create person profiles.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
